It's time to grab your potion ingredients, sharpen your deduction skills, and get mixing! Little Alchemists is a family-friendly deduction game that's designed to grow with the curious minds of young players. The game starts with simple concepts and mechanisms; you'll start by gathering and combining ingredients for brewing potions to sell. However, as you collect keys by achieving your potion-making goals, you'll unlock new chapters that gradually add more components, mechanisms, and complexity to the experience. Not sure how to make potions? No sweat! Potion craft takes mere seconds with the free Little Alchemists companion app. To make a potion, players select two ingredient tiles, then scan them using the companion app loaded onto a tablet or smartphone. This reveals the combined result and lets players acquire and mark the corresponding potion knowledge on their secret player board. With each potion you make, you'll begin to discover the secrets that lie at the heart of alchemy. Players will have to use clever deductions to figure out the arcane properties of each ingredient, then they can use that knowledge to their advantage throughout the game! Over the course of seven chapters that unlock over multiple playthroughs, players will learn and master many new facets of the alchemy trade, preparing them for what's to come. Each chapter is designed as a replayable experience that expands on the previous chapter, with new layers of game mechanisms that add more subtle depth and complexity over time. This is the absolute best family game I've ever tried. Fun for kids (even younger ones at level 1-2) and for adults (especially from level 3). It mixes a cute theme with a more and more elaborated deduction activity. People are excited about making potions even when losing. The "cooperative" side (getting the keys) is also an amazing touch.

This requires an app, which I usually don't care for, but the app implementation is exceptionally good. It's kind of a legacy game inside, but nothing is destroyed as you progress the game. My kids recently reverted it back to level 1 so they could start again. It was our family's most played game of 2025 by far, and my nephew asked me for it for his birthday because he had so much fun playing it at our house. They also played it through the final level and are about to revert it. It's just overall a great game for kids and the app makes it possible to engage a pretty wide band of ages (between my kids and their cousins we had ages 4-10 at the table, all having a great time).

This game is basically made for me. I love alchemists and my oldest just turned seven and wants to game. The progression of the game resonates with him and he is excited to both open up the last little treasure box and start playing alchemists with me. Dream come true!

Liebevoll entwickeltes Spiel. Materialien sind Topp. Unsere Kinder lieben es. Das Freischalten und entdecken macht den Kindern sehr viel Spaß. Einige Bewertungen und Kommentare kann man nicht wirklich nachvollziehen. Wir Eltern (eher Vielspieler) macht es auch Spaß mit den Kindern dieses Spiel zu entdecken. CGE hat da ganz gute Arbeit abgeliefert.

I have never seen my boys this excited about a game thus far. They were all over the place, supporting each other. The winning- at least for the first Session- did not matter at all. They were tremendously supportive and extremely eager to play on with the first chest unlocked. Everything I hoped for. It seems they finally caught fire. There have been games which appealed to them before but none quite like this. So I am excited as well to see what else will come. Great great game by Matus once again.
