A tactical survival adventure in the post-apocalyptic world of 'Posthuman'! You are a survivor in a near-future Europe that has collapsed under the weight of its own political mistakes, following a bloody class struggle fueled by genetic modifications. In Posthuman, you have traveled to the last bastion of organized human society in this region: The Fortress. Now you are sent into the mutant-infested wilderness to make contact with the last remaining human settlements. You are to bring them back into the ranks of the Fortress and expand their influence in the region. Like in the first Posthuman, it is a survival journey in sandbox style, but the game system in Posthuman Saga is different from that of the first game in the series. Posthuman Saga is a standalone survival game in the Posthuman universe. You play as an experienced member of the Fortress militia, sent beyond the defense borders to explore the outposts with which the Fortress has lost contact, seeking plundering opportunities along the way. You must traverse a decaying land lacking in resources and populated by mutants roaming the dilapidated mansions and forests. Players win by completing various objectives that fit different characters and playstyles. The focus is on tactical decisions on two levels: the journey, expressed through an innovative modular tile puzzle, and the individual story and combat encounters. The latter are fast, card-based events where difficult decisions must be made with future consequences. Posthuman Saga features over a hundred finely crafted story scenes with a simple Push-Your-Luck mechanism that complements the evolving story. It combines Euro mechanics with a sophisticated story to create an experience that challenges you and immerses you deeply in a post-apocalyptic world. Posthuman Saga is a competitive, tactical survival adventure set in the post-apocalyptic world of Posthuman. The game can be played in 3 modes: solo, competitive with 2-4 players, or in team play 2 vs 2.
