Description
People do not meet your gaze. You never get calls from people who dialed the wrong number. The pizza delivery guy gets lost trying to find your apartment even though he has delivered there for three years... and he doesn't remember your name. Brandon Arthur, a freelance industrial designer who loves nightlife, is introduced to a lavish secret society – the Demimonde – made up of people who, like him, can move unseen through traditional society. Along the path that will lead him to understand this secret world more deeply, Brandon will face ethical and moral questions, meeting emblematic figures such as an orthodox priest, a neo-fascist sect, an underground casino funding the war, and reanimated corpses who, like soldiers, fall in the battle started with the Demimonde schism.
