Crows are definitely my favorite expansion faction. The most fun. Moles are good, too.

the two factions neither of us play we but we still need them on hand other players!

New maps are superb New factions are great Crows are very simple but hard to actually win with Moles are a bit more involved but I think of them as the better cats. Its very important to have more militant factions in order to not rely on birds and cats to stabilize each game.

Perfect expansion for root. Corvids are a good simple faction you can give new players and they will understand it very easy and can have fun because of the trap mechanic. Duchys are a very strong long reach faction which can replace our groups least favourite faction (the cats). New maps are really interesting and have both different mechanics build in. Perfect addition if you need new factions and is really the must have first expansion.

First expansion I bought, the amount of content almost feel as heavy as the original game.
