This is my favorite Trick Taking Game to come out during this TTG Renaissance. It feels like you are playing a strategy boardgame while just playing a TTG with a theme that promotes trash talking your opponent and pinning them to the arena. Would highly recommend this game.
I've never been a wrestling fan, but this is one of the few trick taking games which really does an amazing job of connecting with the theme. The mechanics (particularly the tagging/damage/objects) immerses you into the ring environment in a way I haven't seen before. I am giving it a 10 for its sucess at achieving the theme and originality in mechanics (particularly tagging in/out).
This is currently my favourite trick taking game and my favourite wresting game. It just works so well. The mechanics actually make the game feel like the back and forth of a wrestling match.
Probably my favorite trick taking game in the last few years. Such great interaction and the theme is just perfect.
For trick takers, this one is brilliant! Great interaction and use of abilities and really cooperating with your partner, really exciting and fun!
