Description
While empires rise and fall in Eastern Europa, the rest of the world takes notice. Two distant factions, Albion and Togawa, send emissaries to scout the land and employ their own distinct styles of conquering. Scythe: Invaders from Afar, an expansion for Scythe, adds two new factions: 10 miniatures, 62 custom wooden tokens, and 2 faction mats. It also includes some new cardboard tokens, two new player mats, six Automa cards, and a custom plastic insert designed to fit into the expansion box or the original Scythe box.

An elegant expansion to an already fantastic game. The first thing I'd buy after the base game for anyone new to Scythe.

I have never played 5+-player Scythe games so I can't really assess if it's that cool. And these 2 new factions aren't really my favorite... But but BUT, their gameplay is unique enough to please some players. It's really a matter of taste! In spite of those things, this expansion is still worth a 10 to me. Vanilla Scythe is already fine, but getting these 2 new factions in your box gives it even more potential, for a reasonable price (which I actually can't remember, sorry... But as far as I remember, price was ok). First expansion I recommend buying after playing a dozen vanilla Scythe games!
