Description
Seagrass Travel Pack is a strategy game where players are marine naturalists exploring barriers and creature colonies among these diverse and growing "rainforests of the sea".
On your turn you expand an aquatic creature colony or a barrier. Colonies score more points as they grow and help you contest majorities around barriers. Expanding a barrier increases its value and fills your hand with tiles, but also makes it a more attractive target for opponents. Playing more tiles of the same type grants powerful turns; spreading your plays allows you to score the same colonies multiple times.
Seagrass is part of Bitewing Games' Crown Jewel Selection and is an evolution of Maya by Trevor Benjamin and Brett J. Gilbert, featuring two game boards, special creature tiles and aquatic illustrations by Alisha Giroux.
