- Expansion - Big enemies are way more useful if you're playing in a 3-6 players group, as you won't see them much with 1-2 players. That said, the Oni Warlord is definitely one of the best to get, bringing 2 new Adventures, 2 new Missions, 4 new special World Cards and several cards that improve existing decks (Shadow Magik) or enemies (Oni). Great bang for your buck.

Yet another XXL enemy that will likely take more time putting together than facing on the gaming table. BUT... the extras take this expansion to another level. Some of the included cards are for the warlord but most can help add variety to almost any game: Oni trait cards, two additional Adventure cards with their own encounters, and four "Other World" cards that lead to dangerous earth environments to help integrate already existing map tiles. The Oni Warlord is a thematic, tough foe for advanced characters to face, but the extra cards in this box really make the expansion shine.
