Shipwrights of the North Sea is a strategy game for 2-5 players set during the Viking Age (900 AD). Build the greatest fleet by making resource management choices: oak wood, wool, and iron. The interactive board with strange inhabitants holds surprises. Win by scoring more victory points through building ships and buildings. For 2-5 players ages 10+.

Shipwrights of the North Sea is set in the early years of the Viking Age, circa 1000 AD. As Viking shipwrights, players compete to build the greatest fleet on the North Sea. Players must collect oak, wool and iron, as well as getting other craftsmen on board to help. Gold is a precious commodity, and must be spent wisely. As you would expect, the township is filled with an array of characters, bad and worse. Better hope they're on your side!

This is a fast, easy game to learn and play. Just got it recently and I am sad that I did not get this before. I really enjoyed this one. Raiders is still my favorite between the two, and I still have to play Explorers, but this one is great.

Worker placement and resource gathering game. Gather resources to build & launch ships, with a limit at the end of the round that forces conservative use. I like the drafting method for each round's hand which allows for rotating first-player so that you always get a chance to pick the best cards for a round.

My favorite game. Great artwork, very well thought out game design, a little luck of the draw, a lot of strategy. Love it.

Fun drafting game with many paths to follow. It can be tricky to time your actions just right, the Townsfolk board is almost necessary to make it work.
