Description

In Songbirds, 2 - 3 players play as forest spirits playing bird cards from their hand into the forest. Each card has a color and a volume. If a column or row of the forest is full of birds, the loudest color gets delicious berries and victory points. During the game, each player determines their favorite color through a bird card, which earns them points at the end of the game. Since this choice is made covertly, players do not know which color the others are supporting, so they try to help their birds score the most points and block the other players as much as possible. Songbirds includes special cards for a four-player game and rules that extend the game over multiple sessions. There are also various game variants: Early Bird (variant for 2 - 4 players), Extended Game (variant for 2 - 4 players), Solo Game, Cooperative Game (variant for 2- 4 players). Game contents: 28 bird cards (all uniquely illustrated), 10 berry markers, 4 berry collector cards, 2 special cards (Crow/Hawk, Hummingbird/Thrush), 5 special berry markers, 8 scoring cards, 3 worm markers (for the Early Bird variant), 1 rulebook.
