Первая игра в моем мире настолок и я ей очень благодарен за приятное время провождкние. В эту игру лучше играется в 2-3, в 4 происходит больше хаоса) Заставляет подумать над каждым ходом, место занимает на столе мало)

Description
Small Samurai Empires is an action-programming area-control game for 2-4 players, where players are fighting for control of Japan with their armies of Samurai! A game of Small Samurai Empires is played in 3 Eras, each consisting of 2 rounds. Each round, players will take turns placing order tokens facedown on one of the slots available in the 4 regions of Japan. When all players have placed their tokens and filled all the token slots, they will be revealed and resolved one by one by the owner of the token. These order tokens will enable the players to recruit mighty Samurai armies, move their armies to conquer provinces, build castles to defend and maintain control of their provinces and do other meaningful actions. At the end of each of the three Eras, players will score points depending on the regions they control and their value, which can change during as the game progresses. Finally, the player with the most points at the end of the game is the winner!

This is an action programming/area control game. The samurai meeples are beautiful and the gameplay is great. It gives you enough decisions to make and the programming aspect is really cleaver. A ton of game in such an small box, recommended!

What a wonderful job the team that designed Small Samurai Empires did to make such an engaging, fun game. The only drawback is that I would like to see an option for up to 6 players, rather than maxing out at 4. Update: With the expansion, the game can now play 5, but in their push to make each player asymmetric, the game is unbalanced. Still an unmatched play experience, but I wish the simple powers introduced in the expansion were a little more balanced.

Manages for me to give a similar feel and tension as Polis with simpler rules, faster play, and less luck. Excellent game. We have only played 2 player. 3 or 4 player seems like it could become too chaotic. 2 player is chess-like and feels like a wargame, which is what we prefer. Love the mechanics. Decisions feel very meaningful.

One of my best war, area control games. Thinky and out-thinky with many paths and plays to do. I have the expansion that completes it as a game, and makes it one my best samurai games.
