Great family game. It’s not Terraforming Mars, but it’s a fantastic way to teach worker placement and resources management games to kids. Difficulty levels are very good too. Played with my 10 years old and 7 years old daughters.
After first play with my boys we love it. We all enjoy reading the Smurfs comics, and this game really takes us there with nice mechanic/character flavour wins among other great aspects. We were all excited to see some of our favorites be rescued from the Dark Forest! I was cautiously optimistic before hand but I feel they really nailed it and can't wait to get it to the table ASAP. I could really flesh out my comments but I got to go for now.
I bought this ironically to play with friends (we're all adults lol), and this is a really good, cooperative deck builder/worker placement game, where players use the same pool of workers and build the same deck. It's very clever. The houses are made out of flimsy paper but you can still store them in the box without issue.
Surprised me a lot. It's actually a very good cooperative Deck-building (sort of) game with a shared deck of cards and combined with a worker placement. I tend to like such games a lot (Dune Imperium, Arnak and etc.) Although, this game is less fitted for a 5 years old due to a text on cards, me and my son had fun playing this one. Various reviews are complaining about the houses and how to store them. If removing the cardboard insert which comes in the box, everything fits nicely without lifting the lid.
