Description Description

The great migration from our dying planet began in the late 22nd century. Nations and corporations competed and collaborated to find new worlds to colonize in nearby star systems. SpaceCorp: Centauri is a new standalone game for 1-4 players dedicated to the exploration and colonization of Alpha Centauri, Tau Ceti, and Epsilon Eridani. Based on the SpaceCorp game system, each player controls a human enterprise engaged in humanity's expansion toward the stars, sending teams on FTL exploration missions and launching sub-light colony ships to settle the planets and moons prepared by their teams.

The Centauri map depicts the Sun and five star systems connected by interstellar routes, each with various planetary sites to explore and colonize. The game opens with a prelude, First Steps, in which players choose starting advantages (team positioning, ship launches, research, infrastructure, genetics, revelations, or secret objectives), making each game different from others.

Centauri can be played as a standalone game (2-3 hours of play) or, with a few adjustments, as the third era of the original SpaceCorp, replacing the Starfarers era. It also includes a complete solo game with its own ruleset.

Game Designer: John Butterfield. Game Developer: David Kurtz.
