This feels much more balanced that the initial Rey/Kylo starter sets. Recommend this one to any gamer that wants to try these system without going too crazy.

Comments based on: 6 plays using cards/dice in Two-Player Game; own. Things I like: • Theme—Star Wars is great! • Dice rolling mechanic is always exciting and introduces the element of chance • Cards and dice results lead to numerous strategic decisions that mitigate (but not element) the element of chance • Great-looking components • Can be played casually or competitively in organized play • Deck building can be highly strategic • Quick games Things I dislike: • Doesn't support more than 2 players • CCG model can get expensive quickly • Storing the components requires a third-party or do-it-yourself option

Great cards including "sound the alarm". This Kylo Ren version is great. Unfortunately you need to get 2 copies to play the elite characters. (only 1 character die per box).

Hands down best intro level product at the moment for Star Wars: Destiny. I have no idea how this new two-player started is rated below both the two most recent single-player starter packs (Boba & Luke). The two decks in this starter are competitive against each other, and more importantly hold up in actual competitive play quite well.

Didn't want to get into another collectable card game, but I LOVE this game! Accessible, fast, and well balanced. The dice mechanic is very cool.
