I appreciate the new region and extra Behemoth for replayability variety. The cooking mechanic is certainly another fun dopamine boost as you discover more meals. Each meal provides unique in game benefits that can become very helpful. As a solo player, I've found that I simply prioritize other actions/energy uses over cooking, but the system/mechanic does work well, and I could possibly see it becoming more heavily utilized in higher player counts (i.e. why it is part of the 5th player expansion).
