This is truly a magical game. We typically add some incense and ren fare music to add to ambiance. The accompanied book of tales is truly a unique mechanic I cannot love enough.

Didn't know quite what to expect. From the number of cards and tokens it looked intimidating. Relax! They are mostly just encounters, quests, and skills and statuses trackers. GREAT production value. That encounter book is EPIC. Yeah, you're kinda each playing your own game of "choose your own adventure" but... It's fun! If you ever played as game like Seafall and wished it was nothing but Encounters, this is the game for you! If you love "choice of" games and multiple choice novellas you'll love it. If you don't... Play something else!

Everything Tales of the Arabian Nights has to offer in a streamlined package and a great theme. Arabian will always be a favorite and a huge part of my gaming life, but this is objectively a better game.

Really great writing. I've read Le Morte d'Arthur and I thought this was very much in theme. I wasn't sure if this would go over well for us compared to other games since it is more on story than mechanics, but actually it's been a blast. Only two plays so far but both games were surprisingly tight ending in a tie, but one player coming ahead because they completed more quests.
