Description
In the co-operative trick-taking game The Crew: The Quest for Planet Nine, the players set out as astronauts on an uncertain space adventure. What about the rumors about the unknown planet about? The eventful journey through space extends over 50 exciting missions. But this game can only be defeated by meeting common individual tasks of each player. In order to meet the varied challenges, communication is essential in the team. But this is more difficult than expected in space. With each mission, the game becomes more difficult. After each mission, the game can be paused and continued later. During each mission, it is not the amount of tricks, but the right tricks at the right time that count. The team wins only if every single player is successful in fulfilling their tasks.

I love it! It's simple, fun, cooperative and me and my friends played it for hours! Furthermore, it's well thought out and there are several options to make it simpler, if the quest is hard.

No le puedo encontrar fallas al diseño, siento que se reduce a un tema de gustos y este encaja bien con las cosas que me gustan. Recuerda bastante al Hanabi y The Mind y siento que este concepto es más sólido. Aporta mayor complejidad y mecánicas sin alejarse de lo simple. Si bien dije simple, cuesta captar la lógica del juego al principio, hay que fallar unas misiones antes de entender lo que el juego espera de ti, por ejemplo, que una mision pida una carta azul no significa que haya que la baza se deba iniciar con ese color, o que sea muy común necesitar contar cartas.

It is quite hard with 5 players but hey, this is trick-taking and the Crew, so who cares. Its fast, smart, fun, easy to learn, and basically you can play it with anyone -- friends, family etc. The sweet spot is 4 players, as always. And yes, the second box is better, but that does not mean that this is bad. You have such a great accomplishment feeling when you finish a mission after several tries!

I love this game! Fast-paced, team work, goal oriented. Similar to the card game Spades where you're winning tricks, but this time everyone is working together to complete the mission. I enjoy the goal-oriented satisfaction of working your way through all of the missions in the booklet. You can pick it up and play for a really short time, focusing on just beating one mission or play as long as you want and complete multiple.
