Description Description

Your office job was wearing you down. Then, one mysterious Monday, you receive a letter from your family's lawyer informing you that a distant relative has left you a factory in their will. You decide to risk it all, quit your job and pursue the dream of becoming the greatest board game manufacturer the world has ever seen! You'll need to hire staff, build an assembly line, invest in new facilities for your factory, secure and fulfill contracts, and market your line of board games around the world.

In The Game Makers, players are board game producers competing to build the largest collection of classic modern board games. You can make over 300 real games from over 100 real publishers. You can create Wingspan, Brass: Birmingham, On Mars, Terraforming Mars, Android: Netrunner, Ark Nova, Twilight Imperium: Fourth Edition and many more! The Game Makers is a love letter to the board game hobby.

The central warehouse wheel, which dominates the center of the game table, leads players to simultaneously choose which game components to produce in a given turn and how to use them. The Game Makers features not only multi-use cards but also other multi-use components. Will you use them to complete a lucrative contract or upgrade your factory?

Add plastic components to your factory to unlock special abilities. Get workers to use for your special abilities, or use workers from your break room to get game components. Roll your dice to increase your marketing for the final score. Use die-cut cardboard to expand your assembly line, gaining additional discounts on game production. Accumulate the plastic, workers, dice, die-cut cardboard and cards you need to produce one of the greatest games ever.

Get the requirements to produce a game, then add it to your legendary games board! Will you produce your favorite board game? Or will you produce the game you hate to score more points? Earn points from the games you've built and how well you've marketed them.
