Description Description

The Last Vikings is a wargame depicting two battles from The Great Northern War: battle at Kliszów in July 1702 and battle at Fraustadt in February 1706. This game uses basic mechanics from well welcome game "Bloody Fields of Mollwitz". Specific for this system is combat resolved using morale levels of attacker and defender. Other characteristic is activation of formations in pairs which gives players much more control over armies than "traditional" drawing from pool. The scenario book includes very detailed historical introduction. Players can choose one of five scenarios added to the game. Scale of the game: one hex represents 120 - 130 meters of real terrain one game turn corresponds to 30 minutes one counter of infantry represents a battalion one counter of cavalry represents squadron one counter of artillery represents several guns of the same gauge
