Description Description
Tichu Booster is an expansion to celebrate the 25th anniversay of Tichu. The new booster cards add a lot of variety to the game, with each card being a one-time boost, hopefully giving you an advantage or preventing harm. During set-up, shuffle the 57 booster cards and place them in the middle of the table as a face-down draw pile, then reveal the four topmost booster cards and place them near the draw pile as a face-up display. Every time a player calls a Tichu, the booster cards on display are distributed among the players, with the player who called "Tichu" having the first pick.

Really really great and with many new unique situations and wow moments. Don't be afraid of chaos - it makes Tichu more strategic! But you might want to introduce a limit for booster cards a player can have for lucidity (our limit is 4). I cannot imagine to ever play Tichu again without booster cards.

Printed out the English version of it. We love pulling this out every once in a while. Room for skillful play, and memorable moments. Possibly swingy, and yet, like Tichu itself, everything may balance itself out (or not).

PnP Breath of fresh air in a stale game - adds variety and layers of strategy that can be combined to novel and exciting effects. Will probably try to play with as often as possible. ^ July 2017 edit June 2024: extends the game too long, and the game already takes a while to conclude when you play to 1000, fun variant, would not play every time.
