Perfect in it's simplicity. Great art and component quality. Only problem is replay ability. I'm already starting to memorize cards. Will probably rate higher when I get the different editions and mix them together. *Update: Improved rating because of expansion decks. No replay problem. I mix all the versions together. Everyone has really enjoyed this simple trivia game. A hit. Highly recommended to any but those who truly can't stand any sort of trivia game.
Get the tin version if you can. Great for a quick filler game with friends or solo with 6 card hand versus a 12 card AI opponent deck that always successfully places a card on its turn. The fact that the game gets harder in the later rounds makes this great for solo play.
Fun game, easy to set up and play. It tends to get easier after more games since you will remember the dates, but at least you learned something Changed it to a 10 simply because no matter what games we decide to play, we know for a fact we will have at least 3-5 games of Timeline while we wait for everyone to arrive and settle in. Yes, you will start to know cards, but it's still fun
Me parece un juego genial. No entiendo que tenga tan poca nota. Lo sacas en un momento, es super simple de explicar, es muy divertido y lo mejor de todo es que aprendes. Es ideal para jugar con niños. Lo puedes combinar con las otras versiones para complicarlo más. Y si pierde la re-jugabilidad porque os habéis aprendido todas las fechas, lo que te ha hecho aprender, y sobre todo a tus hijos, ha merecido los 11'70 € que vale.
Best filler game out there. Mechanics so simple takes 20 seconds to explain. A game takes about 5 mins. If it was just trivia it would be boring but since you only need to take an educated guess as to if say the toothbrush was invented before or after the steam engine its lots of fun. Only thing that can be said about this game is you need to either play one of the other versions or take a break between too many games as you start to learn the dates on the cards
