Revamped gameplay - Many rule changes, small and large, has taken place to re-balance and enrich the game, including new character powers, new powers for Outer Regions, and completely redesigned Epic Foes, along with many subtle changes to the setup and rules.
All new art - Completely redesigned to get in line with the current art direction of Tiny Epic line.
ITEMeeples - Items have been redesigned to be permanent additions and this is artistically represented with ITEMeeples, first introduced in Tiny Epic Quest.

After getting the expansion, and several play throughs, I am starting to think this is a top 10 game for me. With the deluxe versions and expansion all the character and foe choices coupled with the randomized friendly/hostile lands hightens the replay value.

Rating for base game + Tiny Epic Defenders: The Dark War. A lot of replayability, thematic coherence and fun packed in a very small box. To make a comparison: I got bored of Pandemic pretty fast, while, in the other hand, I find Tiny Epic Defenders very satisfying (guess part of this is the fact that I prefer fantasy/DnD themes). But it's not just about the theme: Tiny Epic Defenders' mechanics are quite enjoyable, maybe simple, but providing a good tabletop experience and tons of fun, all of it in a short playing time. Absolutely cute (especially with the pieces added in The Dark War expansion). Adorable!

Favorite solo game, Therefore one of my favorite little co ops. Incredible art work, I understand the complaints but personally I love this game. lots of little rules questions but still super fun solo game! favorite artwork, really wish tiny epic dinosaurs used this style of artwork.

É um puzzle de fantasia com um visual extremamente apelativo. Vc tem que planejar muito bem. O que prejudica um pouco o jogo é como as coisas podem ficar muito randômicas da metade final para frente. Antes disso é gerenciável, depois você pode ficar de mãos atadas e só ver o circo pegar fogo numa rodada ruim.
