I do like the extra actions and complexity of the villagers. It adds without making it into a different game. The bonus actions for working villagers (those inside a house) are variable from game to game so won't be able to find that optimal strategy that always works. One nitpick is the squirrel is not balanced and falls over too easy. No real extra set up or tear down. Will probably always play with this expansion with experience players. Not really for first timers.

An other good expansion, as it provides extra possibilities to create certain buildings, just like the Fortune-expansion. These expansions certainly make the game more a gamers’ game, something I certainly like :-)

Nice addition to the base game. Adds new strategies and enables higher scores. I play with this expansion about half the time.
