A game that is ideal for people who love good, immensely immersive, exciting, surprising and intelligent role playing games - but never get around to establishing a game group. This is your (methaphorical) methadone! Easy to hop on and off like Zombicide, easy to exchange players, but a deep and fascinating experience. Excellent re-playability, especially with the existing expansions. Soon became the favourite in our game club.

Explore Trudvang Legends, an epic RPG set in a dynamic fantasy world. Players become legendary heroes, influencing history and relationships between nations. Each game offers a unique experience due to permanent changes on the board and in the sagas.

- 378 cards (70.0mmx70.0mm)
The game — based on the Swedish RPG, Trudvang Chronicles — thrusts players into a cycle of epic sagas in which their achievements change not only the world itself, but the very rules by which gods, peoples and nature interact. They will quest through an interwoven series of adventure books, and the results of their choices will echo through history: changing the relationships between sovereign nations, usurping kings, creating new waygates, or even locking and unlocking parts of the map.
Change in Trudvang Legends manifests physically as parts of the board actually change, making the actions of previous hero generations affect future sagas. However, the changes are only as permanent as long as history remembers them, which makes the game endlessly replayable, and even playing the same adventure book repeatedly will have a completely different feeling because the world itself has changed. Heroes, following a path of destiny, will even become historical fixtures as they become kings, guildmasters, or even gods!

This behaviour makes me lose every interest for such people, and makes me dislike them. That's why I rate them 10 and explain the reasons in the comments. Why do you allow people to give a game a rating before it hits the table? I'm disappointed with all the 1s because people dont like CMON. I was excited for Massive Darkness 2 and now that the campaign has started wont be backing. I playtested Trudvang at Gencon last year and the game looks amazing. They put a lot of time and effort into the design and art of Trudvang and I'll be surprised if it doesnt provide many hours of fun adventuring and painting. Oh and for the individual that said they dont have a rule book yet...click on the rulebook in KS and it does give about 20 pages of content.
I just played the first chapter for now, but I can give my impressions :) I feared the game was bad according to some reviews. But it's really good in fact ! It looks like a mix of Tainted Grail : Fall of Avalon (narration, choices) and Tamashii (bag building and runes mini-game) ) The gameplay is simple (but not too simple) and the narration is the core of the game :) The components are excellent quality and setting up a game is pretty quick compared to a lot of similar games. Every adventure has different paths where we can unlock different stuff :)
