The Undaunted series continues with this two-player deck-building game of tactical combat, pitting the raiders of Britain's Long Range Desert Group against Italian forces in the North African Theater of World War II.
The North African campaign has begun. Take control of the British Army's Long Range Desert Group and operate behind enemy lines or command the formidable Italian forces opposing them. In "Undaunted: North Africa", a sequel to Undaunted: Normandy, players once again lead their sides through a varied series of missions. As casualties mount, wounded soldiers leave the players' decks, forcing them to adapt in the face of changing tactical circumstances. Use your cards to strengthen your forces, deploy vehicles to advance rapidly across the battlefield, and seize the initiative as you determine the outcome of the North African Theater.

3 scenarios in and having a blast! Plays like an action-packed GI Joe cartoon if the cartoons were a little grittier like the comics. I absolutely love this game!

Wonderful game! I started with Undaunted Normandy because I love that setting, but when I tried this one, I got it's an evolution, I love vehicles and the opportunity to steal opponent's ones, I feel like if I am playing a videogame! A lot of strategy, realism and... it's fancy! In my top three best boardgames ever!

Come Normandy, ma con una durata media inferiore, veicoli e fazioni diversificate. Dopo più di 15 partite penso che sia uno dei miei giochi preferiti, specialmente insieme all'espansione. Dopo aver giocato agli scenari base potrete cimentarvi nella loro creazione, modificando le regole a vostro piacimento. Amo il fatto che abbia questa propensione al sandbox e penso che continuerò a giocarlo ad oltranza. Voto: 8 > 9 > 10

I am in the minority of people who prefer North Africa to Normandy. It is an underrated masterwork of balance, don’t listen to the detractors. Each scenario is a flashpoint, if Normandy is a chessboard, then North Africa is a chess puzzle. There are optimal strategies for each side, and there are optimal counter-strategies for those strategies. The game is, as always, whether you can switch faster than your oponent can adapt. The battles are more dramatic, more interesting and more intimate than the ones in Normandy. The asymmetry also makes it a lot more interesting and replayable than Normandy. If you engage this one on its terms you will find a masterwork of design.
