The Lich obtained immortality by deceiving Death, and she has sought to destroy him ever since: Death's physical form is banned from the Lich's Domain, a wicked land shaped in his image generation after generation.
The endless confrontation with Death, however, demands a price that continues to grow, and even mastery of the Dark Arts has proven insufficient: now more than ever the Lich is close to losing control of the status quo and, with it, his life.
The Lich has many subjects, but you alone are his Servants, not scarred by Death but by his absence, wickedly corrupted by his Domain. You, and none other, are bound to assist him in his quest to defeat Death once more.
