I'm not a fan of roll and writes. At all. But this one is a gem! I would go so far as to say this re-invents the genre. It's fun, it's super thematic and switches between interactive franticness to calmer, personal decisions. Brilliant!

It has a very interesting take on the genre, good playability and fast and furious action, FFG you should take notes on how it is done!
This is a wonderful real time dice rolling, roll and write. Boils the feel of the original game it’s based on into a similar experience in 10 minutes!
Very smooth and enjoyable gameplay. Lots to think about but it all comes together beautifully
My wife and I really enjoyed our first play through of Vengeance. Gordon Calleja has managed to deliver the fiction of a « vengeance movie » really well in the mechanically simple - and thus limited - roll and write genre. This might be one of the most engaging roll and write we have played. It is too bad the theme is too niche to reach a wider audience. I also wonder if Mighty Board being a smaller company, they also suffer from lack of visibility. It really is a great game. Underrated IMO.
