In Waffle Time, players top their waffles with fruits, cream, syrup, and butter over eight rounds. To collect the desired topping, players place their own color marker on the most lucrative free position on the selection board. The topping depicted on the next two selection tiles in the same row can be placed on the waffle. It's worth paying attention to the requirements on the pattern cards randomly revealed at the beginning of the game, as this will earn the master bakers valuable syrup drops. Those who also fulfill the task of a goal card first can win a precious butter tile, with which additional gourmet points can be collected.
