In addition to their legions of robotic servitors, the Empyreans also deploy great numbers of sophisticated barrier defenses to both defend their forces and to limit the movement of the enemy. Though quite simple by the standards of the Empyreans and wholly lacking even limited intelligence, the carapax defensive barriers are constructed with wide spectrum scanners that can be used to detect even the most well-hidden enemies. Features: * Mantlets are a new type of model that can be deployed to the battlefield like units. Once deployed, mantlets are stationary and provide cover. * Friendly models can move through mantlets while enemies cannot. * Grant the Compound Armor advantage to friendly models within 2˝ of it. * While within 2˝ of this model, friendly models gain the Revelator advantage. Miniatures are supplied unpainted and assembly may be required.
