For what is sets out to do it's excellent. An area control game under 2 hours that offers decent levels of strategy and tactics whilst looking amazing, having fantastic components and loads of powered up moves that are just damn fun. It does help to know what the factions do and you definitely need to have the right group for it but if you are up for a bit of banter then it is really great fun.

Really fun, super easy to pack up/ unpack, lovely art work, addictive and smooth gameplay, 11/10
Kickstarter version, excellent game, looks great. I like the strategy and the different AI modes available for solo. Really cool components and lloking forward to playing with four!
This one has replaced Root for me and my group. We love Root but Wroth has such a low barrier entry point with radically different factions that I can easily see it hitting the table way more frequently. Plus the art...excessive neon beauty
It's a doozy, ignore the solo hate this game is getting (and it's unjustifialbly hurting it's general score). It's a fast paced area control with "on your face", aggressive tactics that keeps you on your toes. The 7 factions (2 are add on), offer a wide variety of playstyles. It has it's few minor issues but as package it's complete. It's works very well at all player counts though it becomes more of area majority game with 2 players. Play-time for 2 p always stays under 30 min and you can add +15min for each added player. We play Wroth 2-3 times in a row or place it as a "fast game" for one round between bigger titles.
