It’s a masterpiece, and its success is based on two brilliant ideas: the engine of the game—rolling 4 dice and choosing between possible combinations of two dice—and the key to everything: deciding whether to stop or keep rolling. This mechanic is like the steering wheel of the game; it’s what determines the course of your play and each player’s style.

We have the Playte triangle edition in the house and the Playte L.Board edition in the car. We've gone through ebbs and flows of both abstract strategy games and push your luck dice games. We usually come across a new one each that burns hot with frequent, repeated play and then sort of tapers off eventually. Can't Stop, however, won't stop being a favorite filler game for at home or portable game on the go. Rating: The Best • 10/10
10 - Always want to play, and can't see that changing I can't give this game anything other than a 10, given how much I've voluntarily played it. The game simply works. Yes, this game has some luck, but the folks saying this game is "pure luck", and has no decisions just aren't good at it. The tactile feeling of rolling dice is immensely satisfying, and this game is highly streamlined and quick.
Simple, addictive, and lots of fun. Can't Stop is my favorite Sackson design, because of how well it encourages those big risks through its use of dice. If someone gets lucky and makes a ton of progress, it encourages the other players to take bigger risks to catch up. It can go a little long sometimes, which is more a function of the game's simplicity than length I think. There isn't a whole lot to DO on your turn, in other words, and the nature of the design can make it slow down as things go on. But for me that's basically too much of a good thing. I really love push-your-luck in all its forms, and this is the purest in the genre.
Played hundreds upon hundreds of games of this! I always enjoy playing it. Over the board and on BGA. It’s great with me: either my luck decides to play around with me and I lose HARD, as in, I get my 3 runners, then the next roll boom! Lost, or I get amazing luck. It’s simple like all luck based games but it’s like crack.
