Almighty
Almighty casts you as an ancient god competing for faith and glory. Play Act cards to manipulate mortals across four different lands, influencing their values and generating faith. With unique asymmetric mechanics and special decks for each god, every game is completely different. A strategic board game for 1-4 players, 60-minute playtime, ages 10+.
Sacrilege! Do these wretched mortals dare to worship other gods?! It is unacceptable! Everyone knows that YOU are the most glorious deity in the cosmos. It's time to unleash all your power and prove once and for all that you deserve the throne... of the ALMIGHTY!
Almighty is a game for 1 to 4 players where you play a whimsical ancient god - of the Sun, the Dead, Love or Storms - competing for faith and glory by performing various acts on the inhabitants of the mortal plane. Each turn is a new page in a rich and entertaining story that emerges from the game: will these mortals lead full and prosperous lives, or will they suffer terribly at your divine hand? You are their god, you decide!
On your turn you play Act cards on one of four lands, influencing the Mortals there (creating them, moving them, striking them for their effect, blessing or cursing them to alter their value), which generates Faith. At the end of the round, the Mortals hold a Festival in each land and award Glory (victory points) to the god with the most Faith in that land. But only Worthy Mortals earn Glory! Unworthy Mortals subtract Glory, so you'll need to move or eliminate them, or bless them to make their value positive, while trying to reduce the value in lands where your opponents are ahead. Mortals are a shared common resource, not owned by any player, so you must outwit your opponents by manipulating and positioning them in the most advantageous way for Festival time.
Each god also has a unique deck of Act cards and a strongly thematic asymmetric puzzle to solve, and each game only shows a handful of the mortal deck, making every game of Almighty completely different from the start.
After three rounds, the god with the most Glory is crowned ALMIGHTY!
