2–4 players 1−2 hours english necessary one of the hottest games of the last few years. cole wehrle is a genius. i'm not much of a space girl, but the theme has been growing on me — in no small part thanks to kyle ferrin's lovely, zany art. will sell my soul for a group who'd be up for playing the blighted reach!

This is my new drug of choice. I absolutely destroyed our arcs group in the last game. Played the noble and scored win with 31 power after chapter 3 while the others had respectively 3 and 2 power. Brutal win, I slept well that night. 3 Mechanisms Area Majority / Influence Area Movement Campaign / Battle Card Driven Dice Rolling Die Icon Resolution Hand Management Negotiation Resource to Move Take That Trick-taking Turn Order: Claim Action Variable Player Powers
Only played one game so might change the rating down the line but I haven't felt this strong about a game in a long time. I was constantly amazed at how many decisions there are and I feel like every single turn I played was unique and different. It seem like it is going to have an absolutely insane replayability. Some games you get a pretty good idea even after one game, here I feel like I barely scratched the surface in the best possible way.
It's amazing how narrative the games feel. Even when you lose you feel like you took part in a grand space opera. There's great variety in taking simple turns and taking memorable game changing turns. You feel like in a movie with 3 other protagonists. This is currently my top game of all time.
My favourite games for years. Many ways to interact with others and find a solution to a given problem. There is always a way to find a solution to a given problem, ranging from direct action on the board to negotiations and discussions around the table.
