I have had so much fun with this game! I love the Axis vs Allies series and this one takes the cake. I enjoy the specialized pieces for every country that is super cool. I have spent lots of good times playing with it with friends. My only minor complaint is that there are no paper Industrial Money Tokens which is fine
This is the perfect edition. It's not so drawn out as the 1940 edition, thought that's simply epic... how likely are you to play it? It's everything you want from AA. I do miss R&D and I would have liked some printed cash. Nothing a printer and scanner can't fix.
A super team-based war game, although lacks some depth but makes it a chess-like feel. There are not many effective strategies after you have rich experience with the game. The best players use some fixed openings and strategies. If you are looking for an async-friendly game, Axis & Allies 1942 Online(the digital edition) is one of the best as it has fewer interactive actions between players.
my name is Maxim I am 10 years old. This game is fantastic. I plays this game every weekends, but I want to add an Italy in game. And why defender men can`t retreat? And attackers men can retreat Why??? (If I have mistakes in advance sorry) This game is FFFAAANNNTTTAAASSTTTIIIC!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the 'original' gateway games. With some of the most memorable pieces ever made - and unique to each of the major powers! Great for armchair generals - exceptional for teenagers who are getting into history. Off the bat this is the sort of game that you know whether or not you'll enjoy it due to it's content. Grand strategy is the focus over tactics.
