I was afraid that with 5 players game will become too tight and chaotic, even with expanded mainboard. Fortunately it turned out to work really well as it gave players more space to breathe than base game with 4. There was less downtime than I expected, number of available spots of workers stayed almost the same, but I have never felt limited to meaningless left overs for my engineers to go to. Nothing to complain here, except (hopefully I am not mistaken) lack of tiles for placing neutral dams on board during setting up the game. Other than that - 9/10.

Expands the game to 5-players in a balanced way, so maintains the High rating of the base game.

+ Nice variant if you look for a looser 4p map - No real need to seek out for another player to join the party.
