The best deck builder game, and one of the best Sci Fi card games I have encountered. Played the base game 4 or 5 times, then bought the two expansions and the "promo" and "alternate" cards. Will happily play the game for the foreseeable future - MASSIVE replay value !
[microbadge=3813] Science Fiction Game It's fancy presentation and one new planet. You can live without this.
Not much here, but still good. You get the original 6 Core Worlds with new artwork and flavor text. I could take or leave that. You also get the new Core World of Buono, which is worth 4EP plus 1EP for each of your tokens on 1 of your Galactic order cards. In our game (2 player), I had 7 tokens on the Mining Tech card, so I was primed to get this once it appeared. Unfortunately, it never did and I lost the game 38-34. No reason to not add this every time Core Worlds is played with the GO expansion.
This promo pack only replaces the current core worlds with new cards that has some more thematic fluff on them. Really not a game changer. However, it also adds one new core world (Buono) which ties in with the Galactic Orders expansion.
The extra flavor text is nice, and Buono can be a nice addition to faction based strategies.
