Seriously, pocket-sized cooperative games that I can play on a plane, train, bus, etc..... will always get a good vote from me. On this one I really do like the "Zoom In" feature of the game.

Description
Crime Zoom is a series of investigation game for 1 and more players and for plays of about 1 hour. Each investigation propels you into a different universe, but almost always on a crime scene. This crime scene is spread over several cards to form a great illustration. To investigate, nothing more simple. Take a card to take a closer look. An item intrigues you? Flip the card over and find out what is this little paper on the bedside table. An address? You can now take the card that corresponds to this track. Unless another element on the crime scene appeals you even more? In Crime Zoom, you will conduct your investigation freely. Discuss between players to choose the tracks to follow. And as soon as you think you have solved the case, go to the questionnaire. Who is guilty? What is his mobile? What is the murder weapon? And some subsidiary questions, of course. Do not miss the culprit otherwise you will lose the game. But if you answer the questions correctly, the number of cards you will not reveal will decide you. The solution will answer each of the questions. The epilogue will come to tell all this in a story or a testimony history to understand the plot that has been played.

A quite complex investigation, requiring deduction and observation skills. It's much more immersive than other "escape game" card games. We had the same sensation with this game as a very good scenario of chronicles of crime "noir" (same designer).

Vous enquêtez à votre rythme. Très immersif, c’est vous qui choisissez ce que vous voulez faire dans l’ordre que vous voulez. Une fois que vous pensez avoir résolu l’enquête, il faudra répondre à une série de questions. Puis, petit bonus, l’épilogue à la fin du livret de règles vous raconte ce qui s’est réellement passé ! Beaucoup de dialogue avec les joueurs. On est au cœur de l’enquête, c’est très agréable et en plus pour un prix plus que raisonnable ! J’ai beaucoup aimé ! I liked the story, the mechanics, and enjoyed the deductions. The systems is very simple and works smoothly. It is very approachable even to casual gamers. There were enough red herrings, but it was possible to understand why not to follow them. The final story was interesting and we got it mostly right.

Original - 2022 01 24: Crime Zoom: His Last Card is incredible for crime fans like me. This isn’t just a series of puzzles -- it’s completely about the investigation. Go here, talk to this person, match their prints, compare motives, and leave no stone uncovered. If you enjoy the narratives in Chronicles of Crime, Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective, and Detective: City of Angels, or the Sherlock Holmes Graphic Novel Adventures, you’ll probably love this.
