Played this game at GenCon 2026. Game is smooth and very intuitive for one with many different mechanics occurring at the same time. The skill tree and progression gives different strategies and the deck building progression pushes players in different directions to approach their growth. Game is definitely worth a try if you enjoy a medium level of complexity game that is very easy to learn.
Love to play as solo and as 2 player so far. Visually extremely interesting and beautiful which makes it a very enjoyable experience. Lots of variations for replay-ability but I do hope there will be expansions in the future.
This is a medium weight strategy game and I love it. It’s deck building game where you need to managing your resources. You drill down in levels to get better and better resources, but you can’t sell most of them until you get back to the surface, so there’s a constant tension between how far you can get down and still get back up, and how long you can stay down before surfacing. I think that tension is great in this game. There’s a decent amount going on but it is not hard to teach, and I appreciate that in a strategy game as well.
Crisp and thematic gameplay. The deck building and optional use cards fit so well with the idea of running an old mecha-drill rig. Cards are quirky and punchy, and the UI work into the cards and player boards work very well. It does exactly what it says on the tin!
Great deckbuilder but not a lot of interaction. The good news is the overall experience carries it through. Multiple strategies are balanced and can win. Components are top tier. Played at both 2 and 3. Can't wait to play it again.
