I'm a backer. It's so great to have this in my hands. My son and I loved it from our very first play. It is simple, not deep. That doesn't detract from the fun. If you are the kind of person that likes deep and complex games then it is not for you. The complexity is on par with Fluxx where there are only basic rules and everything else is on the cards (but it is not the same style of game as Fluxx).

- 160 cards (63.5mmx88.0mm) [suggested by ichiruishu]
Epic PVP: Fantasy is a head-to-head battling card game. At the start of the game, each player chooses a class deck and a race deck, then shuffles them together to create unique character combinations, such as a Human Paladin or Goblin Druid. Each combination creates unique tactics and strategies to use when you battle.
The goal of the game is to defeat your opponent by reducing them to zero life. Players do this by playing moves that act as both attacks and blocks as well as with special cards and abilities granted by the player's choice of class and race.
During a turn, a player adds cards to their "aggression pile", then chooses how many cards to draw from their aggression pile into their hand. The player uses the aggression provided by the cards that remain in their aggression pile to play move cards to block incoming enemy attacks. If an attack isn't blocked, the player takes damage, specifically one damage per unblocked enemy attack. Then all the moves played by that player become attacks for the opponent to deal with on the opponent's next turn. There's more to it than that, but those are the basics...

Kickstarter. Intense and highly tactic game that we love to play. Fast setup, lots of interesting decisions, 20-30 minutes playtime. It has everything you wished for in a two player game.
Great battle card game. Not super complicated with a good mix of strategy and luck.
This game is fast paced, has great flavor, and a lot of replay-ability. The aggression stack mechanic means you have to constantly be keeping your 'resources' in check, as well as your opponents. The mix and match deck construction makes for some very interesting play styles. A few of my favorites were Dark Knight Halfling, Cleric Orc, High Elf Samurai, and Human Monk. There are so many combinations of class and race, I just can't get enough of it.
Great game! Just got my copy and it is fantastic -- great production value and fun game play! This could certainly do well with tournament play...and definitey calls for expansions. Sci-Fi, Western, etc....with all being compatible. The combinations and the fun would be endless.
