Description
In Era of Atlantis, you are a secret society seeking to expand the nations you control in the mythical antediluvian age, 12,000 years ago. You have two under your control and each is shared with a rival. You also have a secondary goal: to bring "light" or "darkness" into the world. By collaborating and competing with your opponents, you must prove yourself the most powerful secret society before the Era of Atlantis ends in glory or cataclysm.
It's a semi-cooperative game of area control and worker placement. You control two nations and at the end of the game the one with the lowest value counts, so it's usually best to balance them. Each nation is shared with another player, who has the same interest in its success. Changing control of a nation is possible but difficult. You can earn some extra points only for yourself, with remaining mystical energy or by completing secret objectives.
The game is played over a variable number of rounds, with one turn per player per round. New areas are obtained through military or political means. You can also boost your abilities by building structures or acquiring special actions. A nation grows better if the two players who control it cooperate.

Heerlijk spel met flink wat interactie, doordat je met twee rivalen moet samenspelen. Gespeeld met 4 / 5 spelers. Absolute aanrader als je van spellen met interactie houdt en de moeilijkheid je niet afschrikt.

Original game, set in the ancient history of planet earth. The players control 2 major powers in cooperation with a rival. This works very well, The actions of the players determine the future of the planet and if you predict it correctly you get extra points in the end. The player actions are fast and the game has a dynamic flow. I recommend the game and wil support the kickstarter that will be launched soon.

I like the theme of these mysterious ancient civilizations. Good game with many interlocking mechanisms that fit with the theme.
