Fantastic replayability with different combinations of factions each game; the turns swing by very quickly, with only two basic choices to make (take a card or play a band); There are multiple ways of scoring victory points., and you have to quickly adapt to what the luck of draw presents you.

´My favorite game ever! The different characters make a great diversity so the game is never the exact same. Can play for hours on end and it is fast paced so you don´t get bored whilst waiting for your turn.

Such a great area control game - I prefer this to Ticket To Ride - amazing variation in every game because of all the different character types. Scoring system is great - very enjoyable! Works at 2, the level of variety is epic. My game of the year for 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Fabulous John Howe artwork. Great area control/set collection game. Simple to learn rules. Get this vintage copy, the newest version ruined play with horrible graphic design and art that hinders you from even knowing what race/color card you have, and abilities are ambiguous icons.

This is a clever mechanic that I haven't really seen in another game, so points for uniqueness (and that mechanic works fabulously). It would all but kill Ticket to Ride (whose mechanics it mimics in many ways) if not for the theme. I don't mind it, but it's definitely difficult to get excited about it. Edit: New theme coming! So excited for this. Edit: New theme and change in mechanics doesn't excite me all that much but haven't played so we'll see. Edit edit edit: New retheme of the original coming so I'm excited all over again!
