Fantastic standalone game in the Everdell universe! Love the artwork! A bit of a shift in the game mechanic let this one flow a bit better. Great design while still keeping with the core game mechanic.

I am slightly biased after the base game...but James Wilson just keeps coming in a killing it. Enough was changed to keep it fresh (with even some major changes to core rules) and it is just the same 10/10 that the base game earned. SO, SO, SO good.

Our friends gave us mixed reviews on Farshore, but we actually really loved it. It is not a replica of normal Everdell but has a lot of it's own mechanics and features. We loved the boat scoring system, combined with card combos it feels like you are really sailing the waters.

More Everdell. Moving the boat is easy to miss, probably easier to remember if not played Everdell before. Art style is slightly different and I prefer original but this will probably grow on me as I get more familiar with the cards.
