Description
Benvenuti ad Alula, un misterioso continente dalla geografia in continuo mutamento, plasmata dal ritmo delle stagioni. Oltre il Mare delle Nebbie, esplorate le terre in cerca dei suoi segreti, incontrate i suoi abitanti ed elencate le sue meraviglie per ottenere più fama dei vostri avversari.
Nel corso della partita giocherete una fila di 8 carte davanti a voi, da sinistra a destra: sono le regioni che incontrate esplorando. I personaggi su queste carte concedono punti vittoria se in seguito soddisfate le condizioni che richiedono. A fine partita si ripercorre il cammino al contrario, assegnando i punti alle carte nell'ordine inverso a quello di gioco.
A ogni turno si gioca una carta da una mano di 3 e poi se ne sceglie una nuova da un fiume di carte scoperte. Il gioco è simultaneo e un astuto sistema di priorità condiziona ogni scelta: essere gli ultimi a pescare lascia meno opzioni.

Love this game, the reverse mechanism is unique to me, love the artwork and that it is just 2 decks of cards. Super quick to set up and play. Rating might drop eventually, I'm not sure how much replayability it has but not tired of it yet.

This is a card game that makes you think backwards. Yes , ouch. It took us 5 plays to really rearrange our thought process , but once we did , we realized Faraway is a keeper. This game gets a 10 for originality. It will sit right next to Scout, Castle Combo, Strange World Above the Clouds , Ohanami , Hanamikoji , District Noir , and Biblios , on our Little games shelf. We love the scoring mechanism that flips over one card at a time , backwards , when scoring. There is quite a bit to think about when deciding which card you should draft. Folks , this game is fun. Played it at the 2p count and it works great!!

At this game length and ease of teaching, I feel Faraway is pretty much unbeatable in terms of depth and fun it offers.

One of my favorite games. Very puzzly tableau builder that has you laying cards down in a row but then scoring them backwards.

CAUTION! Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. It contains small parts which could be swallowed or inhaled.
