Got me into solo boardgaming. I really enjoy the simple set-up and short play time. Perfect wind down before bed. Easy to save your place too.

- 68 cards (70.0mmx120.0mm)
You come to on a sandy beach. The sun is burning your back, the sea salt makes your skin itchy, your tongue barely moves in your mouth… You remember a huge wave washing you overboard, and you quickly lost sight of the ship. You are lucky to stay alive. But where are you? Is this place inhabited and do ships sail here? Will you ever return to your homeland? And will you be able to even survive?
Washed Ashore is a story-based solo adventure in which the player takes the role of the game's main character who is shipwrecked and stranded on a deserted island. The player reads parts of the story on cards and makes decisions related to them, the consequences of which are revealed to the player immediately or after some time.
As the player progresses through the game and follows the story map by map, he finds/creates resources that he can further use to achieve the goals of the game.
The game consists of several parts/chapters, during which the main character tries to get off the island, finds and lives in a tribe of natives and tries to sail to his homeland on a ship that sailed to the islands.

A little fiddly at first, but oh boy what cool adventures are hidden among those cards! Well done!
For what it is, it is really good. A card-driven gamebook/cyoa adventure game that delivers an immersive, enjoyable experience. I've played through it 5 times now and could still see myself giving it another couple of play-throughs before it gets stale.
Christmas present 2025. This adventure, with its numbered deck of cards, initially reminded me of the Cartaventura series (of which I have a few), and the turning/flipping of cards in hand brought to mind Palm Island. However, this is no clone of either, and my first play of it soon made me see that this was far more like a proper adventure, and the addition of the measuring of three parameters for survival was key to making the choices seem more informed. Plenty of replayability. This is a hit with me.
Simple, fast and fun. Opened it and I was playing within minutes. I like that it has many different endings and I can reset the deck and see what type of ending I get! Bonus that it all fits on my bed table!! It was engaging and I did become immersed! I need to put some ocean waves music on for background music next time I play!
