It's like Lost Cities but with an added layer of complexity. Gorgeous artwork. Fast, fun, and easy to learn and play. Surprisingly actually plays great with 2 players. A big game in a small box. A keeper.

Pleasantly surprised by how absolutely smooth the gameplay in this is. The rulebook does leave a lot to be desired, so I highly recommend reading or watching a guide elsewhere. Don't worry about this, though, as everything so obvious after your first couple of plays, you'll likely never reference the rules again. Enough complexity to be strategic and interesting, yet somehow so quick to grasp in every moment that everyone always knows exactly what they want to do next. The result is that the game plays *fast* in the best way.
A nice card game without take that which feels like Lost Cities with special powers. Lots of gameplay and variable set-up in a small box.
This is a very solid euro game where the theme works better than most. It also packs a big box experience in a tiny portable game. It’s an impressive design from my favorite up and coming designer.
Game was fun once you got into it, and I could see it being very replayable with lots of different strategies. We played as 2 players, and definitely thought it would be better with 4 players. The rules are not super clearly laid out until you start playing (we had a couple moments like “ohh that’s why we were supposed to put that card there).
