Description
The second boxed set detailing the climactic moments of Napoleon's last 100 days as Emperor. It simulates the desperate struggle that ensued on the Brussels' highway at the crossroads of Quatre Bras. The game box includes one 34x22" map and nearly 600 multi-coloured playing counters, plus standard rules, exclusive rules, charts and organisational displays.
The game is ideal for one-on-one play or solitaire study, and is fully compatible with La Bataille de Ligny for a grand simulation of the events of June 16th 1815.

I rate it a 10 without hesitation because 1) its graphics are astounding, 2) the rules are really playable (and this is even more true after the release of Regs XXX and ML) and I find this is the best system on tactical/operational Napoleonic warfare, 3) it's a one-mapper and I managed to play it several times, always getting a lot of fun. For sure it takes several evenings to complete, but it is worth of the effort.

11-2018 Only the box is in use (with 2nd edition contents); the 1st edition contents are still mint and will stay so.

Very nice looking game, my first move into the La Bataille series of games. Once I have the rules down and a few games of this module under my belt it will be time to purchase Ligny & Mont St Jean.
