Die Erweiterung ist eigentlich eine glatte 10. Einen halben Stern ziehe ich für die Fehlausrichtung der Player Boards ab.

Beautiful new modular shipboards that replace the weakest action with a useful one. Expansion explodes replayabilty with home ports, more cards, unrest and cooperative modules, a second automa and a second campaign (with more legacy tiles)! The best solo automa I have played, Jean never plays the same way twice and must be played against to win. Uprising adds two more (difficult) Jean cards.
The best part of this upgrade is the dual layer player boards. Saved me from buying some custom player boards. The new solo Jaques is easier to manage than original Jean. But actually I did like Jean since she "moved" on the board. Home Ports are great. Gives everybody a "special power". I have not tried the campaign yet, but I have played the original campaign which was ok, but a bit long... The other scenarios add a bit more variety to the game.
Rating largely reflects enjoyment of the base game. Curious to try some of the new variants and mechanisms but largely picked up to continue the story and legacy aspects of the core game. So far have played one scenario, enjoyed the minor adjustments to the (now dual layered) player boards. All-in-all enough great stuff for me to already be happy, despite interest in playing co-operatively etc being very low in comparison!
Takes a great game and makes it better. The real drawcard for me is the "more of the same but different" aspect of this expansion: careers, cards, and abilities on the player boards. The story is great I'm sure, I just haven't gotten to it yet.
