Really makes this game more than a casual party game, cut down on the luck mechanics. A must have if you have the original.

The Darcy love has always been a bit of a head scratcher for me. Mr. Knightley, at least, seems to have a sense of humor.
I think this improves on the original, as many cards add new features that fixed some of my complaints with the base game.
Good for teaching Austin's works, lends an additional frisson of interest to Marrying Mr. Darcy. Once again, what you put in is what you get out and if your 13 year old isn't buying, it won't be a pleasure...
Erika's Kickstarter for the base game was the most professionally-run project I've been involved with. I was quite happy to back the expansion. And...the base game is a lot of fun. That made this a no-brainer. Update: Arrived a couple days ago. It feels more player conflict-heavy, which seems appropriate to match the book. There was a lot of meddling going on. Gave it a score of an 8 after a single play. Definitely more conflict-oriented than the original game, which feels appropriate, given how much meddling there was in the story. It's a nice expansion, and well worth it, IMO.
