Players use positive integers (whole numbers) in their quest to achieve a very mathematical goal — but it's not just putting 4 and 2 together to achieve the 42 goal (for example) as Math Fluxx also features the Plan B Meta Rule. Plan B puts special victory rules into play which give you a second way to win and require even more arithmetical acumen (e.g., "Plus Victory" lets you win if your keepers add up to the current goal). With Math Fluxx, the fun is exponential!

Here comes out the homeschooler in us! This makes Fluxx way thinkier with more control on actually figuring out ways to win.

I enjoy numbers so was interested to see how it worked in Fluxx. This one takes a little more thinking but still engaging in my opinion. Potentially an educational game for the right age group kids?

My favorite version of Fluxx, which doesn't say much. If I'm going to play a mindless game that might go on too long, I'd like to at least know that my kids are practicing their math facts. Adding the metarules adds a puzzle element and helps keep the game short. The fact that the keepers are numbers adds structure to the game, with some heuristics about what is good or bad in context. And they can be modified and combined using meta-rules. So, this game finally starts to deliver on the promise of crazy interacting rule changes made by the original edition. For adults: 6/10 (waaay better than other versions of fluxx) For practicing math: 8/10

As a number enthusiast, I really enjoy this game. As with all Fluxx games, I love that each game is different. Each game will have different rules and different goals, which means it’s very re-playable. Recommend!
