Honestly one of the most surprisingly fun games I've played in a decade. It's silly, has some strategy that makes you dance a little with what cards are dealt, but it is really fun. Short and brutal.

Cities on the Moon! It will be humanity's greatest triumph: finally free from Earth's confines, the Moon becomes the launching pad to the stars. Rockets are loaded with supplies and colonists, robots are programmed and ready. Everything has been planned down to the smallest detail and there is no possibility of failure. To the Moon!
Moon Colony Bloodbath is an engine-building (and engine-losing) game with a shared tableau: a common deck that players build together and that triggers events, often negative and lethal for the lunar colony, but sometimes positive. The game ends when a player's colony runs out of inhabitants or when the bottom of the event deck is reached: the player with the most survivors wins.

Fun fast paced panic survival game. Players actions can drive faster accidents or negative outcomes in the community deck. Some randomness in cards dealt, delivering different play through experience. Hilarious and distracting for the sake of progress to uproot said progress turns later. Humorous and competitive behind game mechanics.
Just when you think you've seen everything under the sun to one degree or another with cards, along comes this inventive gem. It's just SO good, like eating chips, "just one more round'! Even after gaining familiarity with the events the replayability remains fresh and exciting. Can't recommend this game more highly.
I started this off as a 9, but the more I played it, the more I realised, I won't turn down an offer to play this game. Ever. It doesn't overstay it's welcome, it's different enough from game to game. Simultaneous turns are goated. So it's a 10/10 now. Not leaving the collection anytime soon.
